A Hartford man suspected of dealing fentanyl across Connecticut and New York was captured Wednesday with almost 13,000 doses of fentanyl and a kilogram of cocaine stashed inside his South End apartment.
Christopher Alamo, 33, was arrested by members of the federal Drug Enforcement Administration’s Hartford Task Force and charged with a series of drug and weapons offenses, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Connecticut announced Thursday afternoon.
Agents investigating drug trafficking between the two states late last year initially zeroed in on a New York man and arrested him Monday in Hudson, where he was found with 400 bags of fentanyl, according to court records.
