Schools are closed or operating remotely and drivers are again forced to slow down as a few more inches of snow drops on Connecticut Friday, wrapping up a gentle, but stubborn 30-plus-hour storm.
The storm was a far cry from the heavy snowfall that covered Connecticut over the past few weeks, but it still dropped as many as 4 to 5 inches in the southern part of the state, less in the Hartford and in the north.
A winter weather advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. Friday, the National Weather Service said, warning that travel could be very difficult.
