ESPN’s Michelle Voepel projected the first three rounds of this year’s WNBA Draft, with two UConn Huskies slated to go in the first round.
Voepel predicted Katie Lou Samuelson would go 9th overall to the Connecticut Sun and had Napheesa Collier getting picked 12th overall in the final pick of the first round by the Seattle Storm.
There are some trade winds around the league which might impact the draft, namely Dallas center Liz Cambage requesting a trade and former Husky Maya Moore likely to be traded as well.
