WORCESTER — For long stretches Sunday afternoon, the Hartford Wolf Pack dictated the tempo and controlled the play at their home away from home.
The Wolf Pack, playing before their most ardent fans at the DCU Center, outshot the Hershey Bears and outplayed the "visitors" for much of Game 3 in the AHL Eastern Conference semifinal series. But suddenly, and unexpectedly, the Wolf Pack suffered lapses that cost them.
There was a lost faceoff that led to players falling behind a Hershey rush before the Bears scored.
