Ellington Ridge's Bilodeau Hopes To End A 20-Year Drought

By TOM YANTZ

It has been 20 years since a Connecticut Section PGA professional has made the cut at the annual PGA Tour event at TPC River Highlands.

Kyle Bilodeau wants to end that streak.

Bilodeau, from Ellington Ridge Country Club, earned the automatic Connecticut Section PGA spot in the Travelers Championship by winning the Spring PGA Stroke Play last month.

He knows the drives, irons and putts he hit or made for an even-par 142 at The Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass., in the Spring PGA Stroke Play will be more difficult next week at TPC River Highlands.
