The fire at 2353 Main St. was reported about 8 a.m. The first arriving firefighters saw the fire on the third floor, said Scott Appleby, spokesman for the city’s first responders. Firefighters removed one person from the building and the person was taken to an area hospital.
State and city fire officials said the victim has died, but no other information about the the person was available Wednesday.
