UConn Men’s Basketball is starting to rebuild its roster after the wave attrition through following the 2016-2017 season as Kevin Ollie and his staff landed a commitment from graduate transfer David Onuorah Tuesday evening.
Onuorah comes to Storrs after spending four years at Cornell. Like Shonn Miller, who played his final year of eligibility for the Huskies after going to the Big Red, he had to transfer because the Ivy League does not allow a fifth year of eligibility.
Onuorah is originally from Lithonia, Georgia and, at 6-foot-9, 230 pounds, can serve as a bruiser down low for the Huskies.
