Connecticut on Thursday reported an uptick in coronavirus hospitalizations, for the third day in a row, according to state data.
The state reported nine additional patients hospitalized, for a total of 72. The state previously reported an additional eight patients on Tuesday and an additional one patient on Wednesday.
The total number of hospitalized patients is still far below the numbers reported during the peak of the pandemic. In mid- to late-April, the state had nearly 2,000 patients hospitalized with the virus.
The state also reported a 0.6% positivity rate, which is based upon 83 confirmed cases out of 13,483 tests on Wednesday.
