Hartford police said they are investigating a stabbing and a crash after an accident victim was found to have a stab wound.

The stabbing is believed to have happened Saturday night at Main and Rosemont streets in the North End. Police said they received a report of a stabbing at that address about 8 p.m., but when officers arrived they found nothing.

About an hour later, police responded to a crash at 152 Collins St. in the Asylum Hill neighborhood, Lt. Aaron Boisvert said. A car had crashed into parked cars, and the passenger had a stab wound.
