STORRS – Shonn Miller, who will soon graduate from Cornell, will continue his college basketball career as a grad student next season.
Miller, 6-foot-7, who averaged 16.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game for Cornell last season. He visited the UConn campus on Friday and told the coaches of his decision on Saturday afternoon, then headed out for a meal with some of his new teammates.
Ivy League does not allow students to play a fifth year, so he had to transfer to continue playing. He met with several schools after the season, but UConn emerged as the early front runner.
