Connecticut could begin seeing the effects of Hurricane Isaias starting Tuesday evening with heavy rain and winds expected, as meteorologists warn that he storm is something to keep an eye on for New England residents.
The Category 1 storm blew through the Bahamas Saturday, knocking out power and snapping trees. Isaias is next headed to Florida, where officials have closed beaches, parks and coronavirus testing sites. The storm is expected to continue making its way up the East Coast in the coming days.
The National Weather Service encouraged Connecticut residents to pay attention to the storm’s forecast as it heads north.
