A wind advisory is in effect in Hartford County from 4 p.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, the National Weather Service says. Winds are expected to blow from 15-25 mph, with gusts up to 50, the service said in a Sunday alert. A more recent forecast says winds may gust as high as 44 mph.
“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,” the alert says. “Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.”
The new month and workweek will start off calm, with rain and fog, but it will gradually become mostly sunny and then windy.
