The Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles has announced further extensions for people to address expiring licenses, motor vehicle registrations and to get emissions testing.
As the state still grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic, the DMV got approval from Gov. Ned Lamont to extend deadlines out to Nov. 30 for credentials that expired between March 1 and May 31, officials said.
At the onset of the pandemic, the DMV was quickly shuttered and services remained unavailable for months, until facilities began to reopen for appointment-only visits.
