HARTFORD — Super Bowl fans in Connecticut may look out their windows Sunday and see 5 to 8 inches of snow from a fast-moving storm, forecasters said Saturday morning.
“The good thing is it’s a very progressive storm, so it will be a quick-hitter and will be out,’' said Rodney Chai, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service. “You can expect snow to move into the Hartford area at 9 or 10 in the morning [Sunday]. Then it will intensify from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. — the window for the more intense snowfall rate. By 4 or 5 p.
