Classes are canceled or being taught online Tuesday as Connecticut digs out from a stubborn storm that dropped anywhere from 2.5 to more than 17 inches of snow.
And while the storm is mostly done producing snow, it’s technically not over, meteorologists say. A winter storm advisory remains in effect until 4 p.m. in Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties.
“You’ll have some spotty snow or light rain, a half inch or so,” NWS meteorologist Alan Dunham said early Tuesday.
Hartford County set a daily record for snow: Bradley International Airport had 11.7 inches, which breaks the record of 5.
