Christyn Williams has entered COVID-19 protocols and will miss UConn women’s basketball’s meeting with Oregon on Monday. The team announced the news a little more than an hour before tip-off.
No other UConn players or staff are impacted.
Without Williams, the Huskies will have just three guards available: Caroline Ducharme, Nika Mühl and Evina Westbrook. However, Mühl has been on a minutes restriction in the last three games since she returned, so it’s unlikely she’d be able or allowed to play 40 minutes against Oregon.
Williams is also coming off two of her best games of the season.
