State police said they are trying to find the motorists who were involved in a road-rage shootout on a Cromwell highway exit ramp Sunday during which shots were fired into a passing car with children in it.
No one was injured in the exchange of gunfire between a white and red cars, they said. The shootout happened about 10:20 a.m. at Exit 19 of Route 9 south.
Detectives from the state police Central District Major Crime Squad are asking anyone with information about the shootout to call the Troop H barracks of the state police at 860-534-1000.
