Charli Collier commits to UConn

The last bit of recruiting news surrounding the UConn women's basketball program came when Megan Walker, the No. 1 ranked player in the Class of 2017, completed an impressive group of incoming freshmen when she signed with the Huskies. Now UConn landed another highly-touted prospect.

Charli Collier, a 6-foot-4 forward out of Barbers Hill High School in Mont Belvieu, Texas, announced on Saturday that she was committing to UConn.
Collier averaged 24.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists. 1.7 steals and 2.3 blocked shots per game as a sophomore. She saved some of her best work in the state playoffs when she averaged 30 points and 14 rebounds per game.
