After weeks of speculation, UConn men’s basketball announced Monday that star sophomore James Bouknight has been cleared for all basketball activities.
The guard injured his left elbow before halftime in a game against Marquette on Jan. 5. He has not played in a game since then, after he received surgery on the elbow. He has been practicing but had not yet received clearance from his surgeon for game action.
The news was first reported by CBS’ Jon Rothstein, but quickly announced by the team.
