Bradley International Airport said Tuesday it is ramping up safety measures for air travel as it prepares for an anticipated increase in passenger traffic, including requiring face coverings, the addition of physical distancing markers in the terminal and the installation of plexiglass shields.
Kevin A. Dillon, executive director of the Connecticut Airport Authority, which oversees Bradley’s operations, said, “passengers will find a different type of journey through the airport” but Bradley is taking steps in its “BDL Cares” program to ensure passenger safety.
