Bloomfield police are investigating an incident in which a motorcycle operator fired three gun shots into a car.
Police said the incident, which happened around 12:45 p.m., was preceded by a motor vehicle accident in Hartford. The motorcycle operator was knocked to the ground due to the collision and the driver of the vehicle traveled north into Bloomfield before pulling over, police said.
Police said the motorcycle operator ran up to the stopped vehicle and attempted to reach into the vehicle and grab the vehicle keys out of the ignition. The vehicle’s driver fended off the attack and fled, driving north on Blue Hills Avenue, police said.
