UConn women’s basketball opened the 2022 postseason with a 84-38 win over Georgetown in the Big East Tournament Quarterfinals. The Huskies built on their streak of dominant performances to close out the regular season, holding their opponent to under 40 points for the fourth straight game.
Paige Bueckers led the Huskies in scoring for the first time since her return. In just 18 minutes of action, Bueckers scored 16 points, including a 4-of-5 performance from beyond the arc. She also added five rebounds and four assists in the game.
Three other Huskies joined Bueckers in double figures in the win.
