The former UConn center made an All-NBA team for the first time after an impressive season.
The All-NBA teams were released Thursday, and for the first time since Ray Allen in the 2004-2005 season, a UConn player made one of the teams. Andre Drummond received 13 first-team votes and got 173 voting points overall earning third-team honors.

Drummond, a fourth-year center for the Detroit Pistons, has been on his way up since entering the league as the ninth pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
