Access Health Connecticut has extended its special enrollment period for uninsured residents after seeing 2,000 new signups within a month, they announced Tuesday.
The health insurance exchange will now allow individuals to sign up for coverage through its special enrollment period from March 16 through April 15. The special enrollment period is meant to help residents without insurance to enroll in a health plan during the pandemic, the agency said.
“Access Health CT remains focused on the health and wellbeing of Connecticut residents,” Access Health CT Chief Executive Officer, James Michel, said. “Access Health CT can help you enroll in an affordable, quality health insurance plan that is right for you and your family.
