Parts of Connecticut are seeing some fleeting snow showers Friday, but more is in the forecast for Super Bowl Sunday, meteorologists say.
Any snow showers in the Hartford area Friday will turn to rain, according to the National Weather Service. Little or no accumulation is expected. The high temperature will reach the upper 30s, the low will drop to the mid-20s, and wind gusts may be as strong as 23 mph.
Saturday will be sunny, with the high again reaching the upper 30s and winds gusting up to 29 mph. The low will drop to the upper teens.
