The American Athletic Conference released its 2017 football schedule on Thursday, giving us the full list of names and dates for UConn’s upcoming season.
For the fourth time in the last five years, the Huskies will open their season with a game at Pratt and Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field against an FCS opponent in Holy Cross. The Crusaders were 4-7 last season. UConn has opened every season at home since 2011.
The Huskies will begin conference play at home on September 9 against their heated rivals from South Florida. The Bulls took last year’s game by a convincing 42-27 on their way to a an 11-2 season and have owned this series as of late.
