One person was stabbed and two others shot early Friday morning when some kind of fight erupted just across the street from Hartford Hospital.
All three victims survived, likely because the emergency room was just around the corner from the incident, police said.
Officers were first notified when the city’s ShotSpotter gunshot detection system captured eight gunshots in the area and officers discovered a crime scene near 142 Jefferson Street, Lt. Paul Cicero said.
Moments later, several victims walked into the emergency department at the hospital, including one adult man who was stabbed in the chest and another who had a severe stab wound to the neck, Cicero said.
