Two young Hartford men have been charged with murder in the drive-by shooting at a crowded block party last fall that killed 17-year-old Usher Hanns and injured at least three others.
Diondre Johnson, 19, and Jaden Davis, 20, were served their warrants in jail, where both already are in custody on unrelated weapons charges stemming from their separate arrests the month after Hanns’ killing, police said.
A third gunman who was in the car that day remains under investigation and detectives said Thursday that charges against that person are forthcoming.
Detectives believe the shooting that killed Usher — an admired member of Hartford’s Proud Drill, Drum and Dance Corp.
