The U.S. Open Women’s Singles Tournament has rapidly gone by, just as quickly as Jennifer Brady’s opponents have fallen. Brady has advanced to her first ever U.S. Open and Major tournament semifinals and will face off against No. 4 seed Naomi Osaka.
Brady has won five consecutive straight-set matches to reach this point, looking ever-so impressive in doing so.
She opened the tournament with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Anna Blinkova. Brady followed that up with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Catherine Bellis, a 6-3, 6-3 win over 32-seed Caroline Garcia and then a 6-1, 6-4 victory over 17-seed Angelique Kerber.
