LOS ANGELES >> USC supporters rarely draw comparisons to rabid SEC fans but the Trojans averaged healthy crowds of 23,000 to the past two spring games.
There is little reason to think less people will come Saturday with Sam Darnold everyone’s favorite quarterback.
But how many realize they will not see the usual spring game this year? There will not be a scoring system showing the offense and defense’s point totals as in past years and the event is described as a practice by USC coach Clay Helton because of injuries to at least nine players.
