UCLA recruiting is gaining momentum as signing day approaches.
Cornerback Elijah Gates announced his commitment to the Bruins on Monday.
“I was so nervous,” Gates said after he put on a UCLA hat during a ceremony at Buena Park High. An Oregon hat also was on the table.
Gates, 5 feet 11 and 170 pounds, is the fourth recruit to commit to UCLA in the last week.
