SAN BERNARDINO – Keisean Lucier-South was a frequent flyer in the offensive backfield during UCLA’s Wednesday morning practice at Cal State San Bernardino. The redshirt freshman defensive end had at least three sacks, getting to quarterback Mike Fafaul on back-to-back plays.
Whispers of another Bruin who used to wear No. 11 crept around the small crowd watching from the tree-lined sidelines.
Nearly two years have passed since Lucier-South last played a competitive game. Soon the long wait will be over. By Sept. 3, more than just a few dedicated fans and media members can see him trying to wreak havoc in backfields.
