The search for the next baseball head coach at the University of Texas has not been going well. While a new report on Horns247.com says that Texas AD Mike Perrin may be ready to try to steal UCLA baseball head coach John Savage, there is finally a reason for Bruin baseball fans to breathe a sigh of relief.
In a statement issued via the UCLA Baseball twitter account, John Savage is quoted as saying:
It’s always good to be wanted and respected by your peers, but UCLA is home to me and my family.
