UCLA's Ishmael Adams turning heads as he transitions from defensive back to receiver

LOS ANGELES – Ishmael Adams was more than happy with his role in the UCLA secondary, and was good enough to make opponents unhappy to see him on the field.

Last season, the senior from Oaks Christian High in Westlake Village had two interceptions, returning one 96 yards for a touchdown against Colorado. He also had two interceptions in 2014, returning both for scores, including a 95-yarder against Arizona State. He had four interceptions in 2013.

Adams also averaged 9.2 yards on punt returns and 22.7 on kickoffs in 2014. In 2013, he returned two punts for a 24.
