UCLA's Ishmael Adams reinstated; Fabian Moreau out for the season with foot injury

LOS ANGELES -- UCLA welcomed back one of its starting cornerbacks on Tuesday, but lost another one.

As junior Ishmael Adams was reinstated to the team following a three-week suspension stemming from his arrest on suspicion of felony robbery, it learned that senior Fabian Moreau would require surgery to repair a fractured foot sustained in last Saturday’s game against BYU and miss the rest of the season.

Moreau is scheduled to undergo surgery for a lisfranc injury later Tuesday.

“It’s a huge blow, a huge blow,” UCLA coach Jim Mora said.
