SAN BERNARDINO – A staple of UCLA training camp through a week-and-a-half has been the pressure brought by the Bruins’ defense.
To best prep inexperienced quarterbacks, as well as implement schematic adjustments from new defensive coordinator Tom Bradley, the Bruins have relied on a variety of blitzes from numerous angles to hurry the offense and whoever is behind center.
“One of the (things) Coach Bradley (stresses) is confusion,” junior outside linebacker Deon Hollins said. “We’re going to confuse people and beat people up. He likes to say that a lot.”
It’s a point worth stressing.
