This Saturday, June 6, the soccer world will descend upon the Great White North as Canada hosts the 7th FIFA Women’s World Cup. In this grand futbol tournament, three former members of the UCLA Women’s Soccer team will be representing two countries in the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Lauren Holiday and Sydney Leroux were selected for the United Stated Women’s National Team while recent graduate Rosie White will join the National Team for her native New Zealand.
White won a championship with UCLA in 2013 and had finished her collegiate career last fall as part of a team that was #1 their entire season.
