The UCLA Women’s Basketball team had just wrestled with Arizona State last week as the Sun Devils gave the Bruins a fight, though came up short. In UCLA’s first game of the 2017 Women’s Pac-12 Tournament, the Bruins had a slightly easier time.
UCLA just defeated ASU for the third time this season in a 77-68 victory and it was beautiful. The Bruins used a huge first quarter to set the tone for what can simply be described as a beating. UCLA was not messing around this time as they jumped out to a huge 26-7 lead just after one quarter.
