LOS ANGELES – UCLA knows what it lost in the passing game: nearly 2,000 receiving yards between Jordan Payton and Thomas Duarte, as well as four of the team’s top five pass catchers.
The Bruins also know what they still have in the passing game.
“From top to bottom, this receiving corps, I think, is very good,” receivers coach Eric Yarber said. “I think we have that depth to replace those guys.”
The Bruins have a variety of receiving threats, from big targets outside (Eldridge Massington) to quick, speedy options in the slot (Ishmael Adams).
A lack of experience does not hinder the group.
