LOS ANGELES – Jim Mora believes in this team. It’s a good team, the UCLA head coach said, full of mature leaders with toughness and resilience.
Now it’s time that the record showed it.
“We’re a good football team,” Mora said. “But we need to win.”
The Bruins, despite talent on both sides of the ball, have an underwhelming 2-2 (0-1 Pac-12) record heading into Saturday’s game against Arizona (2-2, 0-1) at the Rose Bowl.
The team is just two plays from an undefeated start and a top-five ranking, quarterback Josh Rosen said. The Bruins allowed Texas A&M’s Trevor Knight to score on a 1-yard quarterback keeper in the overtime loss to the Aggies and gave up a touchdown to Stanford with 24 seconds left last week.
