Chip Kelly won’t coach UCLA in its bowl game, but his words could resonate in the minds of the Bruins.
“As I told them [Monday],” Kelly said at his introductory news conference, “‘Great teams finish.’”
The Bruins (6-6) will get a chance to complete a disappointing season on a high note when they face Kansas State (7-5) in the Cactus Bowl on Dec. 26 at Chase Field in Phoenix.
It will be UCLA’s first appearance in the Cactus Bowl, but the Bruins have some recent postseason history against Kansas State.
