There was a silver lining for UCLA on Saturday night. You had to look long and hard to find it.
The Bruins flopped and flailed through a 31-27 loss to Washington State in the Rose Bowl. There were moments when they looked a little lost. There were moments when they were flat-out bad.
Yet, UCLA players trudged off to the locker room still in control of their destiny. The numerous wasted opportunities didn't waste the season.
