Immediately after UCLA’s season ended last November, Jim Mora stood in a hallway in the belly of California Memorial Stadium and made a promise.
“We’ll rise again,” the coach said.
The Bruins hope to rise from the ruins of their worst season of the Mora era. In the four months since its four-win season, UCLA part ways with four coaches, scrapping its entire offensive coaching staff and tasking 40-year-old Jedd Fisch with revitalizing a struggling attack.
Reconstructing the program will be a long process, but UCLA starts the process Tuesday with spring practice.
