UCLA star cornerback Ishmael Adams has officially been charged in relation to an incident that occurred this past August, according to TMZ. Adams has been charged with misdemeanor battery for allegedly assaulting an Uber driver who picked him up from a party.
The incident occurred in front of a police station in Westwood, Calif.
The driver told TMZ that he had tried to throw Adams out of the car but a ‘drunk and belligerent’ Adams got physical and started to fight him, while also stealing his phone.
