UCLA stages another late rally but falls short in 75-73 loss to Utah

LOS ANGELES – Jordan Loveridge scored 17 points and Utah held off UCLA’s furious charge over the last six minutes to win, 75-73, on Wednesday night at Pauley Pavilion. Jakob Poeltl added 15 points and 11 rebounds and Kyle Kuzma added 13 points and nine rebounds as the Utes (20-7, 9-5), who let a 14-point second-half lead dwindle to two, took sole possession of third place in the Pac-12 with four games left.

Isaac Hamilton scored 25 points to lead UCLA (14-12, 5-8), which remained tied for ninth but has lost three of its last four home games.
