UCLA notes: Coach Jim Mora pleased as UCLA closes camp at San Bernardino

SAN BERNARDINO – A shortened stay in San Bernardino didn’t mean a shortage of energy for UCLA as the Bruins leave the Inland Empire this weekend after what Coach Jim Mora characterized as one of their most productive fall camps of his tenure.

“I was telling the guys I can’t remember in my five years doing this with this team ever being as efficient and competitive and cooperative and being as far along as we are after 16 practices as I feel like we are today,” Mora said Saturday after UCLA’s last fall camp practice.

The one week in Westwood allowed the team to get back into the football mindset before tackling the harsh San Bernardino conditions, linebacker Cameron Judge said.
