UCLA coach Jim Mora named true freshman Josh Rosen the starting quarterback for the Bruins' season opener vs. Virginia.
The announcement was made on UCLA’s official football Twitter account.
Rosen, a five-star recruit out of California (St. John Bosco), beat redshirt junior Jerry Neuheisel for the job. The Bruins host the Cavaliers on Sept. 5.
