The UCLA Bruins will finish out the remainder of the season without safety Mossi Johnson, who transitioned to the defensive backfield after spending time as a wide receiver.
According to head coach Jim Mora, Johnson suffered a knee injury last week in practice.
There is no exact word on the injury that Johnson suffered, but Mora indicated there was damage to several ligaments in his knee.
Johnson made the switch to the defensive side of the ball after cornerback Fabian Moreau suffered a broken foot. Prior to the switch, Johnson hauled in 31 passes for 273 yards and a touchdown.
