Mondays practice did not go so well for the UCLA Bruins. According to Chris Foster of the LA Times, three of the five starters on the offensive line, left the field yesterday with undisclosed injuries.
Center Jake Brendel, guard Alex Redmond, and tackle Conor McDermott were sidelined following 11-on-11 drills. There has been no word on the extent of the injuries.
Brendel is the most concerning of the three. The senior has started 39 of the last 40 games. Freshman Fred Ulu-Perry came in after Brendels departure, and reportedly struggled with snaps.
Offensive line coach Adian Klemm said “we’ll have to see”, when asked about the injuries.
