LOS ANGELES – For Myles Jack, lining up at running back became a fairly frequent occurrence during his first two seasons at UCLA.
Jack carried the ball 28 times in nine games last season, and 38 times during the final five games in 2013.
Will the trend continue this fall? “I would say yes,” said Jack, a junior linebacker, though he added that he has not yet discussed it with the coaching staff.
“I’m all hands on deck,” he said. “It’s a fun deal for me playing running back.”
As a general rule, Coach Jim Mora and his staff prefer to keep their cards pretty close to their chests, especially when it comes to using the talented Jack on offense.
